This Privacy Policy is issued by Roman Pieskov ("we", "us", or "our"), the developer and publisher of the AI design applications listed in the section "Applications Covered by This Policy" below (each an "App", and together the "Service"). The Apps are published on Google Play and on the Apple App Store under the developer and seller name Roman Pieskov (on Google Play the Apps were previously listed under the developer name Rona Mobile Solutions). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Apps collect, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how you can delete it.
Please read this Privacy Policy before using the Service. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Service.
This Privacy Policy applies to the following Apps:
When you first open an App, the App creates a random account identifier (user ID) on your device and stores it there. The App sends this identifier with every request to our servers so that your designs are kept separate from other users' designs, and to our subscription provider so that your subscription is linked to you. It is not derived from your name, e-mail address, phone number, or any device identifier.
To create a design, you take a photo with the camera or choose one from your photo library, and you may type a description of the changes you want (for example, a style or an instruction). The App crops and re-encodes the photo on your device before uploading it, which removes embedded photo metadata such as GPS location. The photo and your text are sent to our servers and to the AI provider described below.
Your photos may show your home, garden, or yard, and anything else in the frame, such as people, documents, or house numbers. Please only submit photos you are comfortable sharing for this purpose, and avoid photos of other people without their permission.
The App stores each photo you submit and each design generated from it on our servers, linked only to your random account identifier, so that you can view, download, and share them later. The list of your designs (your history), including the style, space type, and text you chose, is stored locally on your device.
We record how you use the App through our analytics provider: screens opened, features used, and in-app events such as taking or choosing a photo, choosing a style, starting a generation, liking or disliking a result, saving or sharing a result, and opening the subscription screen. We use this to understand how the App is used and to improve it. Analytics events do not include your photos or the text you type.
Our servers and service providers automatically receive technical data such as device model, operating system version, App version, device language and region, Internet Protocol (IP) address, and an app-instance identifier created by the analytics SDK. Our subscription provider also receives a device identifier (the vendor identifier, IDFV, on iOS; the Android ID on Android). Our analytics provider may infer an approximate location (country or region) from your IP address. We do not collect precise location data.
To measure the effectiveness of our own advertising campaigns (for example, which campaign led you to install the App and whether it resulted in a subscription), the App sends attribution data to our subscription provider, RevenueCat, and our analytics provider, Firebase Analytics:
We use this data only to evaluate our own campaigns and to understand how the Apps are used. We do not use it to show you ads in the Apps (the Apps contain no ads), and we do not sell it or share it with advertising networks or data brokers.
If you buy a subscription, the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We and our subscription provider receive the subscription status, product identifier, purchase and renewal dates, and store transaction identifiers so that we can unlock Premium features and restore purchases. Our analytics provider also records purchase events (such as the product, price, and currency) so that we can understand which plans users choose. We never receive your payment card or bank details.
If the App or our servers encounter an error, we may record diagnostic data such as the error message, the screen or operation in which it occurred, the App version, and the operating system version, so that we can fix the problem. Our servers also keep short-lived technical logs of requests, which may include the IP address, your account identifier, and the address of the uploaded photo, for security and troubleshooting.
If you contact us by e-mail, we receive your e-mail address and the contents of your message. When you contact support from the App, your account identifier is included in the e-mail address so that we can find your data. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your request.
The Apps do not collect your precise location, contacts, calendar, microphone or audio recordings, health data, or financial account details, do not access photos other than the ones you choose, and do not read other apps installed on your device.
All permissions are requested only when needed and can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
We do not use your photos or the text you type for any other purpose, and we do not sell your information.
We share information only with the service providers listed below, which process it on our behalf to operate the Apps, with the app stores for purchases, and where required by law. These providers may use your information only to provide their services to us.
When you start a generation, your photo and the text instructions for the design (the style you chose and any text you typed) are sent to a third-party artificial intelligence (AI) provider, which generates the new image and returns it to us. Your account identifier, device identifiers, name, and e-mail address are not sent to the AI provider. The provider processes this content under its paid API terms, which do not allow it to use the content to train or improve its models; under those terms it may keep the content for a limited period solely to detect abuse and comply with law. We do not use your photos or text to train AI models either.
All data exchanged between the App and our servers, and between our servers and our service providers, is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Your photos and generated designs are stored in Amazon S3, encrypted at rest (AES-256), under a folder tied to your random account identifier. Each file is saved under a random, unguessable name, and the storage cannot be browsed or listed. To let the App display your images quickly, each image is served from a web address (URL) that contains this random name: anyone who obtains the exact address can open that image, but we never publish or share these addresses, and they cannot be guessed or discovered by searching the storage. If you share a design from the App, you choose who receives it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a data breach where the law requires it.
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process your information on the following bases: performance of our contract with you (generating designs, keeping your history, and providing subscriptions); our legitimate interests (improving the Apps, measuring our own advertising campaigns, keeping the Apps secure, and preventing abuse); your consent (for the App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS and for device permissions); and compliance with legal obligations.
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
Our servers and service providers are located in the United States and other countries, whose data protection laws may differ from those of your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers, for these transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, may also notify you in the App or on the app store listing. Changes become effective when they are posted on this page.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, or if you would like to exercise your rights, please contact us at support@reasonway.com.
