Yes! You can either take a new photo directly in the app or upload an existing image from your device’s gallery for identification.
Antiqum uses advanced AI algorithms and a large antiques database to provide accurate results in most cases. However, identification is not always perfect—especially for rare or custom-made items. We recommend using the provided information as a helpful guide and consulting experts for critical decisions.
For each identified antique or vintage item, you’ll receive an AI-generated description, possible material and type, estimated value, and additional images to help you compare and learn more about the piece.
Your privacy is important to us. When you use the app, your photo is securely sent to a third-party service for identification purposes. Additionally, we store the photos you provide so that you can conveniently view your identification history within the app. You can delete your history and associated photos at any time through the app’s interface. Antiqum requires an internet connection to process images and access the antiques database. Offline identification is not currently supported.
If the app cannot confidently identify your item, try uploading a clearer or different photo. You can also use the app’s suggestions to explore similar items or consult an antiques expert for further assistance.
All item descriptions in the app are generated by artificial intelligence based on trusted sources and databases.
