Our AI-powered algorithm analyzes the features of your photo—such as fur pattern, color, face shape, and other characteristics—to match it with a large database of dog breeds. The app then suggests the most probable breed and provides a detailed description generated by AI.
For the most accurate identification, use clear and well-lit photos that focus on the cat’s face and body. Avoid blurry or distant images, and try to capture the dog against a simple background.
Yes! You can either take a new photo directly in the app or upload an existing image from your device’s gallery for identification.
Dogium uses advanced AI algorithms and a large dog breed database to provide accurate results in most cases. However, identification is not always perfect—especially for mixed breeds or similar-looking dogs. We recommend using the provided information as a helpful guide and consulting experts for critical decisions.
For each identified dog, you’ll receive an AI-generated description, scientific and common breed names, and additional images to help you compare and learn more about the breed.
Your privacy is important to us. When you use the app, your photo is securely sent to a third-party service for identification purposes. Additionally, we store the photos you provide so that you can conveniently view your identification history within the app. You can delete your history and associated photos at any time through the app’s interface. Dogium requires an internet connection to process images and access the dog breed database. Offline identification is not currently supported. As an alternative, you can take photos while offline and upload them for identification once you have an internet connection.
If the app cannot confidently identify your dog, try uploading a clearer or different photo. You can also use the app’s suggestions to explore similar breeds or consult a veterinarian or dog expert for further assistance.
All dog breed descriptions in the app are generated by artificial intelligence based on trusted canine sources and breed databases.
